In her new novel for children, Karakaşlı, much loved with her award winning young adult novels, is easing the severity of interlacing life stories, with hope and love. With her poetic language, she’s making the reader to feel the sensations of the families who are obliged to escape from their countries at different times and the difficulties they’ve gone through.

The Trio Gang’s favorite game was to spend time in the big derelict house in the neighbourhood. In spite of the rumours started about the voices coming out of the house, the three buddies couldn’t stop themselves from entering the house. They met Syrian girl Leyla, her mom and Uncle Tevfik behind a hidden door. Would Trio Gang be the hope for Leyla and her family who took shelter in this abandoned house?
